It is the policy of Divinity dance school that all students wear a uniform that reflect the professional image of Divinity dance school to every class. Failure to follow or adhere to this policy may be considered as misconduct or if of a serious nature, may lead to disciplinary action. Uniform Fee: 25.00 per shirt.
TARDINESS - Dancer must arrive at class on time. If a student is later than 10 minutes, the dancer will sit and watch the class. The first 10 minutes are crucial warm up time. Stretch exercises prevent injuries. Late entry also causes distractions to an in session class.
SOCIALIZING - Socializing during class means that you are not hearing what the teacher is saying. Listening carefully is a critical part of the learning experience.
NO CELL PHONES: Cell Phones are a major distraction, not only does it distract other classmates it also becomes a distraction to the instructor conducting class. Use of phones may be used if permitted by the instructor.
RESPECT - All students should have respect for their teachers and classmates. They should listen when their teacher corrects another student as the suggestion may also apply to them. Students should NOT correct each other.
ATTENDANCE
Consistent attendance is crucial for real progress. If you want to become a successful dancer, you will need discipline. Dancers must use good time management skills to ensure they don't miss classes.
EXTENDED ABSENCES
Payment per session is still required regardless of whether the child/student attends or not. Extended ended absences or family vacations, illnesses, etc will not be reimbursed.
The observation of classes is only permitted on the first class of a newly enrolled student. This will allow your dancer to be more capable of focusing on her dance classes and to build independence. Focus in class is important to ensure that the lesson is learned in a confident and capable manner. We greatly appreciate your cooperation in supporting this policy.
It is prohibited for students of Divinity dance school to re-teach choreography taught in class or by an instructor to another person(s). It is also prohibited to learn choreography via videos with intent to perform for private events. Failure to follow or adhere to this policy will be considered misconduct, and may lead to disciplinary action or dismissal.
Performance booked separately from a Divinity dance school instructor must be cleared. This is to ensure the routine and costume reflects the professional image of Divinity dance school.
Divinity Dance School reserves the right to dismiss a student if we feel the child is not benefiting from our program. In this case, any future payments owing will become null & void and the service agree will be dismissed. Divinity Dance School will also agree to refund the complete payment made towards the session in progress.
Divinity Dance School holds a strict No Bullying Policy, Should a child/student demonstrate such behavior Divinity Dance School reserves the right to terminate enrollment immediately, with no refund.
Divinity Dance School holds a respectable reputation as we represent females of all ages within our community. Should a student show indecent behavior at bookings, public events and/or social media, this will be grounds for dismissal.
