This class consists of a variety of activities to develop the young child’s concentration and love of music. Bollywood dance is the dance performed in Bollywood movies. The Bollywood dance style is a beautiful blend of all Indian dance styles be it classical Indian dance, folk Indian dance or the more current R&B, hip hop music. Some people love Bollywood dances because there are no defined rules like classical dance styles.
Bharatanatyam Fusion is A Traditional Indian Classical Dance form, that combines emotion, music and rhythm. Today, it is one of the most popular and widely performed classical dance styles and is practiced by male and female dancers all over the world.
Soca is used for dancing at Carnival and at fetes, soca emphasizes rhythmic energy and studio production—including synthesized sounds and electronically mixed ensemble effects—over storytelling, a quality more typical of calypso songs, which are performed for seated audiences.
Dancehall is one of the many forms of freestyle that grew out of the African diaspora. "It's heavily influenced by its African roots," Blaze says, "and Jamaican dancers have cultivated the art form to become a style of choreographed dance." "It includes the dance, but also the music, fashion and sense of community.
Chutney soca dance is a Caribbean dance combining traditional soca dance with the music of Chutney. Chutney music is up-tempo and rhythmic, and features instruments such as the dholak and dhantal. Chutney soca is typically performed in groups, although there are occasional solo performances.
Zumba is a fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval training — alternating fast and slow rhythms — to help improve cardiovascular fitness.
